Arizona High School Softball - Mica Mountain tipped by Ironwood Ridge

In Thursday's non-league test, the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) softball squad the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ), by a tally of 5-3.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 28. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 11-4 record after their 13-2 league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).

The Thunderbolts (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Douglas, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Douglas held off Safford (Safford, AZ), 11-4, in a non-league test.
