The Jenison Wildcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Ravenna Bulldogs to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sparta for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. Jenison will confront a Spartans team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Ravenna moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Coopersville (Coopersville, MI) to confront the Broncos in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Broncos come into the battle with a record of 1-0.
