Arizona High School Softball - Saguaro bounces Mesquite

March 27, 2025: Scottsdale, AZ 85250

The Saguaro Sabercats softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Mesquite Wildcats to 5 in the Sabercats league win on Thursday.

The Sabercats now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cactus Shadows for a 4A Desert Sky battle on Monday, March 31. Saguaro will confront a Falcons team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Mesquite moves to 4-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ) to confront the Padres in a 4A Desert Sky battle on Monday, March 31. The Padres come into the battle with a record of 7-0. Marcos de Niza won 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)
