Mississippi High School Softball - Tupelo bounces North Pontotoc

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Tupelo Golden Wave softball team scored a nice 15-3 win over the North Pontotoc Vikings.
The Golden Wave (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks come into the 7A Region 2 match with a 14-6 record. In their last match, Germantown notched a victory over North Pike (Summit, MS), 8-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 28. North Pontotoc will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 10-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS).
