Orem Tigers (Orem, UT) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT), 11-9 in a league game.

With the triumph, Orem upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Tigers host Payson (Payson, UT) to play the Lions in a 4A Region 8 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Lions enter the game with a record of 9-2. Payson won 18-0 in their recent league game against Provo (Provo, UT)

The Utes now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Springville for a non-league game on Friday, March 28. Uintah will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-3.
