The Pendleton County Wildcat softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Richwood Lumberjacks to 3 in the Wildcat non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcat now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Fairmont for a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. Pendleton County will confront a Bees team coming off a 20-3 league loss to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Bees record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Richwood moves to 0-3 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Midland Trail (Hico, WV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Midland Trail won 11-2 in their recent league battle against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV)
