The Rosemont Wolverines the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks softball squad by a count of 8-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) in a Sierra Valley Conference challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Rosemont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 8-2 league win over Amador (Sutter Creek, CA).

The Diamondbacks (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Hawks enter the Sierra Valley Conference challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Liberty Ranch edged Amador (Sutter Creek, CA), 8-2, in a league challenge.
