Kentucky High School Softball - Russell County bested by Southwestern

March 27, 2025: Russell Springs, KY 42642

The Southwestern Warriors triumphed over the host Russell County Lakers softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).

The Lakers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.
