With the triumph, Willow Canyon improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Ironwood (Glendale, AZ) to face the Eagles in a 5A Northwest game on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 6-7. Ironwood won 11-2 in their recent league game against Kellis (Glendale, AZ)

The Mustangs now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Desert Ridge for a non-league game on Friday, March 28. Sunrise Mountain will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-4.
