North Carolina High School Softball - Swain County bounces Tuscola

March 27, 2025: Bryson City, NC 28713

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Swain County Maroon Devils softball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Tuscola Mountaineers.

The Maroon Devils (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Mountain Heritage was routed by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 15-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A match, on Friday, March 28. Tuscola will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the match with a 2-11 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Enka (Enka, NC).
