In Friday's league game, the host De Leon Bearcats baseball team scored a nice 16-3 win over the Bangs Dragons.

The Bearcats (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Bearcats go into the 2A Region I District 7 game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Ballinger was overwhelmed by Cisco (Cisco, TX), 22-1, in a league game.

Next, the Dragons play the Winters Blizzards (Winters, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 game, on Tuesday, March 31. Bangs will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Blizzards come into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 10-0 league loss to Coleman (Coleman, TX).
