In Friday's league bout, the Daniel Lions (Central, SC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC), by a score of 12-0.
The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Berea for a 4A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, March 31. Daniel will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-9.
The Bobcats (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 2 challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge gained a win over Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
