The Dixie Hornets the visiting Whitmire Wolverines baseball team by a count of 4-2 in Friday's league test.

The Hornets now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ninety Six for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 31. Dixie will play a Wildcats team coming off a 14-6 league win over Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Whitmire drops to 4-7 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Thornwell (Clinton, SC) to play the Saints in a 1A Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 31. The Saints go into the test with a record of 3-3.
