Louisiana High School Baseball - Welsh defeats Grant

March 27, 2026: Welsh, LA 70591

In Friday's non-league game, the host Welsh Greyhounds baseball team scored a nice 12-4 win over the Grant Cougars.

The Greyhounds (19-6) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Knights go into the 2A District 6 game with a 15-13 record.

The Cougars now have a 11-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, March 28. Grant will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 21-0.
