Texas High School Baseball - Lanier loses to Seguin

Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), 13-1 in a league test.

The Matadors now hold a 18-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, March 31. Seguin will play a Mustangs team coming off a 7-6 league win over Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-8.

With the defeat, Lanier drops to 0-13 on the year. The Voks host Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Hurricanes in a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, March 31. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-12. Sam Houston lost 19-4 in their recent league test against Highlands (San Antonio, TX)
