The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) and the host Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS), saw Lyons's baseball team gain a win over Nickerson by a tally of 17-5.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Larned (Larned, KS). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
