The Spring Hill Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Pine Tree Pirates to 0 in the Panthers league win on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carthage for a 4A Region II District 16 test on Tuesday, March 31. Spring Hill will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

With the defeat, Pine Tree drops to 3-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to Henderson (Henderson, TX) to battle the Lions in a 4A Region II District 16 outing on Tuesday, March 31. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 4-11. Henderson won 13-3 in their recent league outing against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX)
