In Friday's league bout, the Versailles Tigers (Versailles, MO) baseball squad trounced the host Stover Bulldogs (Stover, MO), by a count of 15-2.
The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Missouri Military Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 30. Versailles will clash with a Fighting Colonels team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Mark Twain (Center, MO). The Fighting Colonels record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Stover drops to 1-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Calvary Lutheran (Jefferson City, MO) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 6. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
