California High School Softball - Claremont Walnut

The Walnut Mustangs overwhelmed the host Claremont Wolfpack softball squad by a count of 9-4 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Glendora Tartans (Glendora, CA) in a Palomares outing, on Wednesday, April 1. Walnut will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Tartans come into the outing with a 12-1 record after their 21-1 league win over Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA).

With the loss, Claremont moves to 6-9 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Western Christian (Upland, CA) to encounter the Fighting Lancers in a non-league outing on Monday, March 30. The Fighting Lancers go into the test with a record of 12-3. Western Christian won 16-15 in their recent non-league test against San Dimas (San Dimas, CA)
