The Clint Lions softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Mountain View Lobos to 9 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Elizario for a 4A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 31. Clint will confront a Eagles team coming off a 29-16 league win over Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Mountain View moves to 7-14 on the season. The Lobos travel to Fabens (Fabens, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 4A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 31. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 6-17. Fabens lost 29-16 in their recent league battle against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)
