In Friday's league match, the host Frankston Indians softball team scored a tight 14-7 win over the Wortham Bulldogs.

The Indians (23-3) will now prepare for their match against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX). The Wildcats come into the 2A Region III District 20 match with a 5-14 record. In their last match, Cayuga edged Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX), 23-7, in a league challenge.
