Spectators at Friday's league contest between the Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) and the host Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX), saw Trinity's softball squad nip Onalaska by a score of 8-7.

With the triumph, Trinity improves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX) to face the Fighting Owls in a 3A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, March 31. The Fighting Owls enter the contest with a record of 17-4. Anderson-Shiro won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX)

The Wildcats now hold a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett for a 3A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, March 31. Onalaska will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.
