The Colonial Forge Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Courtland Cougars to 9 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Indians go into the Commonwealth match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Stafford was edged by King George (King George, VA), 21-20, in a non-league match.
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights go into the Battlefield match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Spotsylvania was edged by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 12-0, in a non-league match.
