In Monday's league game, the host Corona del Sol Aztecs baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Desert Ridge Jaguars.
The Aztecs (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Central game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Queen Creek tipped Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ), 16-3, in a non-league game.
