Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 2-1 in a league bout.

With the victory, Currituck County moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Knights host Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats enter the bout with a record of 4-2. Great Bridge won 9-0 in their recent non-league bout against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)

In their next game, the Nighthawks battle the Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 29. First Flight will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
