In Monday's non-league game, the host Patrick County Cougars baseball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the North Stokes Vikings.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
