The Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) soccer nudged the visiting Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 4-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the win, Woodward Academy moves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Creekside (Fairburn, GA) to battle the Seminoles in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, March 29. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Creekside lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Drew (Riverdale, GA)
In their next game, the Knights battle the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, April 1. Johnson will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Athens Academy (Athens, GA).
