The Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) softball routed the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 27-4 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves go into the Smoky Mountain 1A bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Cherokee toppled Murphy (Murphy, NC), 13-6, in a league bout.
