North Carolina High School Softball - Anson Union Academy

The Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) softball the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bearcats (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars go into the Rocky River 2A/3A bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Central Academy held off Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 9-0, in a non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host South Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, March 29. Union Academy will confront a Rowdy Rebel Bulls squad coming off a 17-1 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 7-2.
