Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host George Wythe for a Mountain Empire challenge on Tuesday, March 29.
With the loss, Parry McCluer falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fighting blues travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Auburn won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA)
