The Catawba Ridge Copperheads softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Nation Ford Falcons to 3 in the Copperheads non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Catawba Ridge improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Copperheads travel to South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to clash with the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Stallions come into the game with a record of 0-3. South Pointe lost 13-8 in their recent non-league game against Ridge View (Columbia, SC)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Nation Ford will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Dorman (Roebuck, SC).
