The Gulf Buccaneers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Central Bears to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Gulf moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Buccaneers host Bayshore (Bradenton, FL) to play the Bruins in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 29. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 3-3. Bayshore lost 15-2 in their recent non-league game against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL)
In their next game, the Bears play the Hudson Cobras (Hudson, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 31. Central will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Cobras come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL).
