The crowd at Monday's league match between the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) and the host Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), saw Southern Guilford's softball squad achieve victory over Dudley by a count of 21-2.

The Storm now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockingham County for a Mid-State 3A match on Tuesday, March 29. Southern Guilford will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Dudley falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to face the Bison in a Mid-State 3A match on Tuesday, March 29. The Bison enter the match with a record of 0-5. High Point Central lost 18-16 in their recent league match against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)
