Mississippi High School Softball - Ingomar topped by West Union

In Monday's league contest, the West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS), by a margin of 18-6.

With the triumph, West Union moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Eagles host Smithville (Smithville, MS) to play the Seminoles in a 1A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Seminoles come into the contest with a record of 5-1. Smithville won 15-1 in their recent non-league contest against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS)

In their next game, the Falcons play the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 8. Ingomar will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record.
