Virginia High School Softball - New Kent bounces Lafayette

March 28, 2022: New Kent, VA 23124

Spectators at Monday's league match between the New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) and the visiting Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA), witnessed New Kent's softball squad prevail over Lafayette by a count of 31-2.

The Trojans now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to York for a Bay Rivers match on Wednesday, March 30. New Kent will face a Falcons squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Lafayette moves to 1-4 on the season. The Rams host Poquoson (Poquoson, VA) to face the Islanders in a Bay Rivers match on Wednesday, April 20. The Islanders go into the match with a record of 2-0.
