Washington High School Softball - Yelm bounces River Ridge

The crowd at Monday's league match between the Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) and the host River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), saw Yelm's softball squad achieve victory over River Ridge by a count of 16-4.

The Tornados now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peninsula for a 3A South Sound match on Thursday, March 31. Yelm will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, River Ridge falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA) to face the Tides in a 3A South Sound match on Thursday, March 31. The Tides enter the match with a record of 4-2. Gig Harbor won 12-4 in their recent league match against Capital (Olympia, WA)
