Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), saw Monticello's baseball squad edge Albemarle by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Thursday, March 30. Monticello will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA).
