North Carolina High School Baseball - Monroe loses to Anson

March 28, 2023: Wadesboro, NC 28170

The Anson Bearcats baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Monroe Redhawks to 11 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Bearcats (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Marlboro County tipped Crestwood (Sumter, SC), 18-1, in a league match.

The Redhawks (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets go into the Rocky River 2A/3A match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Forest Hills was overwhelmed by Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 6-1, in a league match.
