The Wayne Country Day Chargers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots to 3 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.
The Chargers (9-4) will now prepare for their match against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 11-1 record. In their last match, High Point Christian Academy edged Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC), 7-1, in a league match.
The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Wayne Christian edged Epiphany (New Bern, NC), 15-0, in a league match.
