Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mattamuskeet Lakers (Swan Quarter, NC), 21-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bear Grass Charter upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bears host North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-8. North Pitt lost 11-1 in their recent league test against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)

With the defeat, Mattamuskeet falls to 0-5 on the season. The Lakers travel to Columbia (Columbia, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Atlantic Five 1A test on Friday, March 31.
