Catholic Rockets (Little Rock, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR), 6-2 in a league test.
With the win, Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. The Rams go into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Hurricane (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Conway (Conway, AR). The Wampus Cats go into the 6A Central match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Conway tipped Cabot (Cabot, AR), 6-3, in a league match.
