Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, Reed-Custer upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Comets host Amboy (Amboy, IL) to battle the Clippers in a non-league test on Friday, March 31. The Clippers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Amboy won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL)
