The Elk Grove Thundering Herd topped the visiting Franklin Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Thundering Herd now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manteca for a non-league test on Friday, March 31. Elk Grove will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Kimball (Tracy, CA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-5.
The Wildcats (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles enter the test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Pleasant Grove gained a win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
