The Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Elk Grove betters its record to 3-7 on the year. The Thundering Herd travel to Manteca (Manteca, CA) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league outing on Friday, March 31. The Buffaloes go into the outing with a record of 9-5. Manteca won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)

The Wildcats now sport a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Pleasant Grove for a Delta League outing on Thursday, March 30. Franklin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
