North Carolina High School Soccer - Pungo Christian Academy knocks off Albemarle School

Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel challenge, on Wednesday, April 5. Pungo Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC).

The Colts now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence Academy for a NCISAA Tarheel challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Albemarle School will confront a Warriors team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
