North Carolina High School Soccer - Butler overwhelmed by Independence

The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), saw Independence's soccer squad triumph over Butler by a margin of 6-1.
The Patriots now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Charlotte Catholic for a Southwestern 4A test on Tuesday, April 4. Independence will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Butler drops to 4-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a Southwestern 4A test on Thursday, March 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-7. Garinger lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC)
