The Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) baseball trounced the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 18-5 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Jaguars play the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 31. Valencia will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Ravens enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).

The Pirates now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 1. Grants will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-2.
