North Carolina High School Baseball - Topsail defeats New Hanover

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) and the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Topsail's baseball squad knock off New Hanover by a count of 7-1.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 31. Topsail will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Hoggard (Wilmington, NC).

The Wildcats now possess a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Brunswick for a non-league battle on Friday, March 31. New Hanover will play a Trojans squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-5.
