The West Springfield Spartans baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting South County Stallions to 3 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their match against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, West Potomac was overwhelmed by Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Stallions (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Fairfax ran past Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 12-1, in a non-league match.
