The Amelia County Raiders softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen to 11 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Amelia County improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Raiders host Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 11. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 2-0. Nottoway won 18-2 in their recent non-league game against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA)
In their next game, the Statesmen clash with the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 3. Randolph-Henry will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
